Michael Meister is an illustrator based in Basel, Switzerland. He studied graphic design in the early eighties and since then he started to work as a freelance artist for Swiss advertising companies, newspapers and magazines first. His work took him to Paris, to Italy, to Germany, where he worked for companies like Daimler-Chrysler and New York where he stayed for a couple of years and started to work with rep, Wanda Nowak. Meanwhile his client list contains from Hong Kong, Europe to New York, L.A. and San Francisco.

Er absolvierte eine Ausbildung in der Grafikfachklasse der Schule für Gestaltung in Bern. Seither arbeitet er als freier Illustrator für Werbung, Zeitungen; Verlage und Magazine. Aufträge führten ihn nach Paris, Deutschland, New York, und Italien. Bis anhin hat er für Kunden in Hong Kong, Europa, über New York, L.A. und San Francisco gearbeitet.
Er lebt und arbeitet seit 1984 in Basel.
